Calls, recording and texts

When you send us a form or give us your number, we may call or e-mail you about your request. Calls may be recorded and monitored for quality, training and compliance; by staying on a call after the notice you agree to recording.

We send automated calls and text messages only if you check the separate consent box. Texts may cover your quote, enrollment, policy servicing and appointments. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop, HELP for help. Consent to texts is not a condition of buying anything. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes; opt-in data and consent are not shared with anyone except the service providers that deliver our messages.

Do not call

If you tell us not to call, we add you to our internal do-not-call list within 24 hours and keep you there. We check outbound calls against the National Do Not Call Registry.

Who we share it with

  • Insurance carriers and the Health Insurance Marketplace, to quote and enroll you.
  • Service providers that run our phone system, website, forms, messaging, e-mail and record keeping. They may use your information only to provide those services to us.
  • Regulators, courts and law enforcement when the law requires it.
  • A buyer or successor, if the agency is sold or merged.

Insurance information notice

As an insurance agency we handle nonpublic personal information under the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act. We do not disclose it to nonaffiliated third parties except as the law permits, such as to carriers and servicers to process your request, to our service providers, and to regulators. We keep physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect it.

What we keep and for how long

We keep personal information as long as needed to serve you and to meet legal, regulatory and record-keeping requirements. Consent and do-not-call records are kept at least five years. Call recordings are kept ten years. No system is completely secure, but we use administrative, technical and physical safeguards.
